I have been a classroom teacher for 13 years. I begun my education journey in remote NT for 8 years then moved to South Australia, although I am originally from Victoria. While being a generalist primary teacher I also specialise in mathematics, drama and dance. 

I completed my Highly Accomplished certification in 2023 which led me to pursue Lead Teacher status in 2025. This reflective process strengthened my work as a classroom teacher and maths coach, driving whole-school change and improving student engagement. It opened opportunities such as presenting with Orbis Maths, assessing national teacher certification, and sharing my school’s journey at the Australian Curriculum Studies Association Symposium. I now apply my expertise as a Primary Years Learning Partner in the Learning and Teaching Directorate.

Recently my husband and I welcomed our first child to the world which has been another exciting journey on its own. In my spare time (although I am not sure how much I will have of that now) I enjoy riding motorbikes, sweating it out at F45, taking my dogs for beach and bush walks and having a laugh with a drink and music.
