Purpose of Membership

Membership of the SA HALT Network provides educators with opportunities to:

• Engage in a professional network of highly accomplished and lead teachers.

• Access professional learning (workshops, masterclasses, conferences)

• Receive newsletters, resources, and policy updates relevant to advanced teacher practice.

• Contribute to advocacy on behalf of HALT in South Australia.

• Membership runs 1 January – 31 December each year.

• Renewal reminders sent in November with early-bird discount ($20 off if paid by 31 December).

• Payment accepted via credit card, EFT, or school invoice. (via educators SA)

• Professional learning (a range of subsidisied and free options available; subject to space in given PL sessions).

• Advocacy on behalf of HALT teachers.

• Newsletter and resources from PL.

• Recognition of members’ achievements through SA HALT Network social media.

• Fees reviewed yearly by the Committee.

• Institutional memberships may nominate staff annually.

• Members must uphold SA Halt Network Code of Conduct.
