As the Director of Studies (6-12) at Pedare Christian College, I am passionate about ensuring an accessible curriculum for all students, and I take great delight in discovering and creating opportunities for them to follow their unique passions and pathways. I work closely with families and community members, and I strongly believe in the importance of ensuring that everyone understands the learning process and their child's pathway.

I have a keen interest in introducing and maintaining robust professional development to advance staff expertise in teaching methodologies and pedagogies, strengthening the foundation for academic rigour and effective differentiation. Previously, my particular focus has been on Highly Able (HA) students, and I strive to cultivate an environment where the upskilling of teachers leads to knowledge transfer across all staff, thereby continually increasing educational outcomes for students of every age.

I achieved my AITSL Lead accreditation in 2022 and was certified as a HALT Assessor in 2025. Having personally completed this rigorous process, which I consider invaluable professional development, I am passionate about guiding and mentoring colleagues as they explore their own HALT accreditation. This expertise is built upon my foundational teaching experience in Middle School Science and SACE Biology & Workplace Practices.
