Hi, my name is Belinda Parr and I am excited to join the SA HALT Network committee after connecting with the professional association in 2022, and completing Teacher Certification at the Lead career stage in 2024. I am also an accredited HALT Assessor.

I have spent the last twenty years working in public education working in both regional and metropolitan communities, initially as a Music teacher, but more recently working in leadership appointments including Arts Coordinator and Year 12 and SACE Coordinator. In 2026 I will be working at Salisbury East High School as a Pedagogy Coach. I am deeply passionate about education and supporting all teachers to have regular opportunities to reflect on and grow their practice.

Outside of education, I am a proud mother to two children and am a running enthusiast who enjoys parkrun on Saturdays (followed by coffee) and training for the occasional longer event.
